| What is vinyl lettering? |
| It is your name/wording cut by computer in professional quality self adhesive vinyl. The letters arrive on a backing sheet and covered with an application tape which keeps the correct spacing while you apply them, so there is no skill required for easy and accurate application. Also with this 'pre spaced' method, there is no unnecessary surround to the letters; once applied, the letters are all individual. You may also have the same designs cut in self adhesive stencil film to get a professional painted finish if you wish. |
| How is the size worked out? |
| When estimating the length our lettering, a rough guide is to multiply the letter height by the number of letters. However the lettering length can be adjusted to fit in the space available. |

| What letters are there? |
| Most letter styles are available in both upper and lower case; all letters of the alphabet and all numbers and punctuation. Some are only capitals by design and one or two are without numbers. The 'available as' lines on the font page show which characters are available for each particular font. |

| What shapes are there? |
| Various effects which can be applied to the standard lettering are shown on the following page. These 'shape effects' alter the shape of the wording to give a range of different looks to your names. |
| What colours are there? |
| Your lettering can be made in one colour of your choice from the colour chart, or a shadow can be added in a second colour to enhance its look and make it stand out. The various ways of applying the second colour are called 'colour effects'. |
| How is the cost worked out? |
| Lettering is priced per letter at the height of letter that you require and from either the single colour or two colour price lists. |
| How long does it take? |
| Our lettering is usually sent out around 5 working days after your order is received. |
| Suitability: |
| The lettering is suitable for most sound surfaces such as painted wood or metal, GRP / fibre glass, most other plastics. |
