| Pricing your lettering: |

Lettering is priced per letter at the height of letter that you require.
You choose your letter height and then it is priced at the number of letters that you have in your boat name. The prices are arranged in four groups according to your choice of one colour or two colour lettering and whether you add an effect or not. If you want more than one set, you simply multiply by the number of sets that you need. All letters and numbers in your name are counted to make the price. Lower case letters are the same price as capitals. Do not count spaces. If used, full stops and punctuation, ampersand, brackets, question mark and currency signs are classed as letters. |

| About the measurements of lettering: |

The letter height that sets the price is the capital letter height (as shown in the above graphic).
The height of the lower case letters is usually around half to two thirds of the capital letter height depending on the letter style (font) that you choose. Lower case letters g, j, p, y have tails (called 'descenders') that go below the base line of the other letters. These usually drop below by about a third of the capital letter height. For simplicity, lettering is produced with the capitals at your chosen height and so these letters will increase your overall height by about one third if you have them in your name. Some styles can have parts that go above or below the base or the top lines by design. If your space is tight then give us your MAXIMUM OVERALL HEIGHT as well as your MAXIMUM LENGTH. |
